Der alternative Browser Opera geht mit der Version 8.5 ein alternatives Geschäftsmodell. Zwar (immer) noch nicht OpenSource aber jetzt läuft auch die kostenlose Version ohne Banner.

Der nur rund 3.65 MB schlanke Download ist lohnenswert, verspricht Opera doch schnelles surfen, das von Mozilla Firefox bekannte Tabbrowsing und einen integrierten Email- und Newsclient.
