BitComet ist P2P-Client für das Filesharingnetz BitTorrent. Neben einigen kleineren Bugfixes und Verbesserungen an der grafischen Oberfläche wurden in BitComet 0.77 einige Anpassungen im Core vorgenommen, die eine hohe Prozessorlast vermeiden sollen. Daneben ist ein Bug, der für unvollständige Downloads verantwortlich war, in der neuen BitComet Version entfernt worden. Für den IE gibt es jetzt einen Eintrag im Kontextmenü, mit dem sich Videos mit einem Klick herunterladen lassen.
