BitComet ist ein alternativer P2P Filesharing-Client für das BitTorrent Netzwerk. Neben einigen Bugfixes unterstützt BitComet 0.75 mehrere gleichzeitige Downloads, Download-Queues, Fast-Resume und das Herunterladen von bestimmten Teilen eines Paketes. Das Programm verfügt über eine Chatfunktion und IP-Filter. Während des Setup-Prozesses wird die Installation der BitComet-Toolbar vorgeschlagen, die sich aber mit einem Mausklick abwählen lässt.
